Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3)

This is a key role for a growing independant MSP.
The senior engineer with enough technical and commercial experience to be trusted by clients to provide clear and deliverable solutions for their IT roadmaps.

To be successful in this role you will combine strong technical know how with excellent customer service skills and good interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working with people over the phone using remote tools and in person at customer locations. You will serve as an advisor and implementor of solutions for clients.

Our Client:

You will join an established MSP in Melbourne’s Inner suburbs. They are an private, independent company with a diverse client list. Engineers primarily work from the customers office and you will will become part of the team.

  • Project delivery and technical documentation
  • Hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, upgrading of hardware
  • Own and drive wide ranging client issues to successful conclusions
  • Document all work in the internal ticketing system
  • Microsoft Desktop Operating systems
  • Troubleshoot errors and support of Windows desktops and servers
  • Provide support to facilitate infrastructure upgrades
  • Documentation (Update internal and customer document repositories).
  • Working at a MSP (Minimum of 4 years)
  • Supporting AD cloud and on-premise environments
  • Office 365/Intune
  • VOIP Telephony
  • Server and network administration, software deployment and MS Office
  • Assist with VPN client configurations
  • Share the responsibility for managing customers
  • Configure routers/firewalls
  • Tools used: ConnectWise, Autotask, IT Glue, Datto
  • Supporting multiple clients
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills.
