The Role
We are seeking a candidate that brings Retail Management expertise complimented with a strong interest in systems and product management. You’ll be the ‘Retail Management specialist‘ a full member of the development team with actual pharmacy retail managment experience.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role where your deep understanding of retail pharmacy operations will directly influence the design, development, and evolution of cloud-based pharmacy management software. You will act as the bridge between pharmacy practice and technology, helping shape the future of pharmacy applications in Australia.
What You’ll Do
- Apply your retail managment expertise to guide the development and enhancement of cloud-based pharmacy management software.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, oversee testing, coordinate pilot programs, and support solution rollouts.
- Work directly with existing and prospective customers to ensure system enhancements are practical, relevant, and deliver real value in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Your insights will help ensure products remain at the forefront of industry needs and best practices.
About You
You’ll have:
- 3+ years’ experience in pharmacy operations including some as a Retail Manager.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated experience in pharmacy product database management, including maintaining and optimising product files or catalogues.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
- Experience with pharmacy dispense software and the ability to rapidly learn new features and updates.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
It may help if you also have:
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy group or branded network.
- Experience with Minfos.
