About the Company

Our client is a leading developer of software solutions purpose-built for the pharmaceutical industry. As part of a respected Australian-owned healthcare group, they support a well-established and growing customer base with hundreds of pharmacies nationwide. Their reputation is built on innovation, collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality pharmacy management applications.

The Role

We are seeking an AHPRA-registered Pharmacist with a strong interest in systems, training, and customer enablement to join the team as a Pharmacy Application Onboarding Specialist.

In this role, you will ensure pharmacy customers transition smoothly from system installation through to confident, day-to-day use of pharmacy management software. Acting as the primary onboarding contact, you will provide live support, coordinate targeted training, manage handover to the Support function, and capture customer feedback to drive continuous improvement. Your pharmacy experience will be critical in translating real-world workflows into effective software adoption.

What You’ll Do

Onboarding & Implementation:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for each pharmacy during the onboarding phase, building trusted relationships and ensuring successful software adoption.
  • Coordinate pre-go-live activities to ensure pharmacies are operationally ready for conversion.
  • Provide live, on-demand support to pharmacy teams, addressing product and workflow questions or escalating issues to the appropriate technical teams (e.g. installers).
  • Identify training requirements based on store workflows and user proficiency, delivering or coordinating tailored training sessions and learning resources.
  • Close out outstanding conversion activities including data migration, configuration, and integrations, confirming readiness for business-as-usual operations.
  • Execute structured handover to the Support team, providing full context, documentation, and supporting artefacts such as tickets, configurations, and training records.
  • Capture customer feedback, measure Net Promoter Score (NPS), and share insights with Product, Support, and Training teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in CRM and support systems to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with Installers, Product, and Support teams to resolve blockers and accelerate customer value realisation.

Customer Support & Clinical Expertise:

  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email, assessing needs and providing accurate guidance or solutions.
  • Act as an escalation point for dispense-related enquiries requiring in-depth clinical knowledge or interpretation of legislative requirements.
  • Support the Master Database team by providing insight into Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) requirements where applicable.

Location & Travel:

  • Australian-wide travel is required for onsite installations and onboarding activities.
  • The head office is located in Docklands, Melbourne, with a satellite office in Brisbane, Queensland.
  • Hybrid working arrangements are supported, with onsite installation and onboarding commitments taking priority.

About You

You Are a Pharmacist:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
  • Current AHPRA registration and adherence to professional and legislative standards.
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to advise on safe, compliant dispensing workflows and appropriate use of software in a pharmacy setting.
  • Solid understanding of PBS claiming, dispensing safety checks, and stock control processes.

You Bring Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in community or hospital pharmacy, with hands-on exposure to dispense systems and pharmacy operations.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as onboarding, training, support, or customer success within healthcare or software environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to triage issues and coordinate resolution with installers or technical stakeholders.

You Have the Skills:

  • Strong customer empathy and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and remote support).
  • Proven problem-solving and prioritisation abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience delivering training, applying adult learning principles, and creating clear job aids or documentation.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy dispense software and the ability to rapidly learn new features and updates.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, ticketing tools, and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams).

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Ongoing professional development and clear career progression pathways.
  • A meaningful role at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
  • A supportive, modern workplace in Docklands, working alongside a passionate and expert team.
