This is a permanent Level 2 Engineer role with a well-established IT services provider in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs — a business that’s been around long enough to have their act together, but is still growing fast enough that your work genuinely matters.
What the role actually involves:
You’ll be part of a busy, collaborative Service Delivery team providing proactive managed and professional services support to a solid and expanding client base. This isn’t a break-fix-and-forget setup — the team here takes real ownership of client outcomes.
Day to day, you’ll be working across a mix of cloud, networking, and business application environments. Tickets come in, you dig in, you sort it out, and you do it in a way that leaves the client feeling looked after — not just technically resolved.
The hybrid model means you get the flexibility of working from home balanced with time in the office with the team. Hours are standard business-to-business, so your evenings are your own.
You’ll bring:
- Previous Level 2 MSP or service desk experience
- Solid Office 365 and Azure admin skills
- Networking fundamentals — you know your way around
- Exposure to Watchguard, Fortinet, or Meraki
- Familiarity with Veeam, MS Teams, or 3CX
- Experience with ticketing and RMM tools
- Relevant industry certifications (or working toward them)
- A customer-first attitude — not just technically sharp
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
The setup:
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs with a hybrid work arrangement. The salary is $75,000 – $90,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on your experience and what you bring to the table.
The team is established and experienced, which means you’ll have good people around you — but there’s still plenty of room to grow your skills and take on more as you prove yourself.
