Technical Support Officer – Level 1

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced IT support officer to join the team. In this role, you’ll work onsite in a Northern Suburbs based College. You will be responsible for IT support to staff and sudents ensuring smooth operation of the school’s technology systems.
About You:
This role is ideal for someone with basic IT knowledge, a willingness to learn, and a strong customer service focus.
You’ll bring:
- A basic understanding and enthusiasm for computing
- Some experience supporting Microsoft applications including Office 365
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
And it won't hurt if you also have:
- Previous experience in a school or educational environment
- Knowledge of basic networking and IT concepts (e.g., Networks, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to helpdesk tickets, emails, and walk-up requests in a timely and professional manner
- Set up and maintain student and staff devices (e.g., laptops, desktops, tablets)
- Monitor printing consumables and maintain printer infrastructure
- Assist with classroom technology (e.g., projectors, ViVi’s, audio visual support)
- Repair laptops
- Support user account management (e.g., password resets, access permissions)
- Perform basic troubleshooting including internet and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as required
- Perform routine checks and updates on school devices
- Assist with IT asset inventory and documentation
- Provide support during school events and exams as needed.
Your qualifications:
- Completion of or working towards a Certificate III or IV in Information Technology (or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Police Check (or ability to obtain).

The Role
We are seeking an AHPRA-registered Pharmacist with a strong interest in systems, training, and customer enablement to join the team as a Pharmacy Application Onboarding Specialist.
In this role, you will ensure pharmacy customers transition smoothly from system installation through to confident, day-to-day use of pharmacy management software. Acting as the primary onboarding contact, you will provide live support, coordinate targeted training, manage handover to the Support function, and capture customer feedback to drive continuous improvement. Your pharmacy experience will be critical in translating real-world workflows into effective software adoption.
What You’ll Do
Onboarding & Implementation:
- Act as the primary point of contact for each pharmacy during the onboarding phase, building trusted relationships and ensuring successful software adoption.
- Coordinate pre-go-live activities to ensure pharmacies are operationally ready for conversion.
- Provide live, on-demand support to pharmacy teams, addressing product and workflow questions or escalating issues to the appropriate technical teams (e.g. installers).
- Identify training requirements based on store workflows and user proficiency, delivering or coordinating tailored training sessions and learning resources.
- Close out outstanding conversion activities including data migration, configuration, and integrations, confirming readiness for business-as-usual operations.
- Execute structured handover to the Support team, providing full context, documentation, and supporting artefacts such as tickets, configurations, and training records.
- Capture customer feedback, measure Net Promoter Score (NPS), and share insights with Product, Support, and Training teams to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in CRM and support systems to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with Installers, Product, and Support teams to resolve blockers and accelerate customer value realisation.
Customer Support & Clinical Expertise:
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email, assessing needs and providing accurate guidance or solutions.
- Act as an escalation point for dispense-related enquiries requiring in-depth clinical knowledge or interpretation of legislative requirements.
- Support the Master Database team by providing insight into Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) requirements where applicable.
Location & Travel:
- Australian-wide travel is required for onsite installations and onboarding activities.
- The head office is located in Docklands, Melbourne, with a satellite office in Brisbane, Queensland.
- Hybrid working arrangements are supported, with onsite installation and onboarding commitments taking priority.
About You
You Are a Pharmacist:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Current AHPRA registration and adherence to professional and legislative standards.
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to advise on safe, compliant dispensing workflows and appropriate use of software in a pharmacy setting.
- Solid understanding of PBS claiming, dispensing safety checks, and stock control processes.
You Bring Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in community or hospital pharmacy, with hands-on exposure to dispense systems and pharmacy operations.
- Experience in customer-facing roles such as onboarding, training, support, or customer success within healthcare or software environments.
- Demonstrated ability to triage issues and coordinate resolution with installers or technical stakeholders.
You Have the Skills:
- Strong customer empathy and excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and remote support).
- Proven problem-solving and prioritisation abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Experience delivering training, applying adult learning principles, and creating clear job aids or documentation.
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispense software and the ability to rapidly learn new features and updates.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, ticketing tools, and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams).
